Audience Feedback

When I created my Poster, Teaser Trailer and Magazine cover, I uploaded them onto Facebook so that I could recieve feedback from a wide range of audience but mainly from the target audience of which I am aiming my teaser trailer at. Some comments I recieved were very helpful and I took into concideration of what people were saying because at the end of the day, it is being aimed at them and what they say is good and bad, I will note down and change because every good and bad comment helps. Here are some comments that I recieved for my Poster:

Editing

From the film footage which I have collected and uploaded onto pinnacle. I have begun editing my teaser trailer and adding in transitions so that it moves from one scene smoothly to the next. I have had some difficulty in uploading all the footage onto pinnacle as the first try of uploading wouldn't work because of the firewire. Once I changed firewire and the footage was uploaded, I was then able to start putting the filming into Pinnacle and adding transitions.
Pinnacle allowed me to create my own production company clip which I placed at the beginning of the teaser trailer. I named my production company 'A Rubberduck Production' and was also able to add a duck noise over the top. This was the first part of my teaser trailer that I had created. The next thing to do was getting the footage in the right order and picking the right transitions that suited the clips and suited the genre of the teaser trailer. I found the editing the hardest part of creating the three products as the editing was all about getting the timing and length of the clip right. In one of the scenes, the character began to laugh at the end of the clip and I didn't notice this until it came to editing and surfing through the footage that I had, So I was unable to go back and film that bit again. As the clip was imported into Pinnacle, I was able to cut down the clip to before she started laughing which helped a lot because it then meant that I didn't have to worry about the continuity of the scene joining the next scene.

Titles & Fonts

For the Magazine cover, Poster and Teaser Trailer which I created as the three products, I have used various different fonts (Styles, Colour and Sizes) so that each one would attract my target audience in a different way and it wouldn't be all consistant throughout each product which is a convention that I have challeneged as from my research it showed that the style of font on the Film poster and also on the Teaser Trailer were the same and if not, then quite similar.

This is the font which I used on my poster. From the posters that I researched, I noticed that most of them were clear easy to read bold dark colours and I quite liked this as it was the type of font that grabbed my attention. I tried many fonts for the title but found that finding a style and colour that went well with the background colour/image and also contrasted the genre of the film was hard to find and sometimes I would get the style of font right but not the colour. I thought that having a simple black bold font would be easiest to read as it stands out more. Although this font is simple and boring, it works really well and I think it grabs the attention of an audience.

I used a similar font for the magazine title as I did for the poster as I thought of similar for this. It's clear and easily readable, it stands out and it's an abbreviated name which I think will hook people in. I outlined the bold black letters with white as I thought it helped it to stand out against the colour of the dark hair in the picture.
For this coverline, I used the same colour and outline as the title as I felt that the title grabs the attention quite well so I was hoping that the same style of font will help attract the attention to this coverline.

I used many different styles of fonts for different coverline stories like this one. I used a bright red colour which would help grab attention and also a bright yellow shape which also does the same. I used a brighter font for the coverlines that I felt were the best ones that needed most attention.
